| Garlic Italian Carbonara |
Ingredients
225 g (8 oz) spaghetti
1 tbs oil
1 onion, chopped
250 g (9 oz) mushrooms, sliced
3 chopped and crushed garlic cloves
250 g (9 oz) cooked ham, sliced
300 ml (1/2 pint) double cream
.
Method
STEP 1
Cook the spaghetti in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain.
STEP 2
Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion for 5 minutes, until softened. Add garlic and cook till slightly colored, Add the mushrooms and ham and cook for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 3
Stir in the cream and spaghetti. Toss well and serve immediately.
